December Sign Ups

It's officially time to sign up for December! Buddy assignments will be posted on the 1st. You'll have until the 5th to choose books for your partners.

The themes for December will be:
THRILLER // MOVIE/TV ADAPTATION // MALE AUTHOR
You must choose books with one or a combination of these genres and themes for your buddy. If you think your buddy might have a problem picking from your TBR pile, please mention that in your comment.

Same here! I never got to start November's books either and I had such good intentions too lol I will definitely be ready in January though.

Anything you'd like your buddy to know?: That TBR linked above has a bunch of stuff I may not own, and doesn't include a bunch of stuff I do own. It would probably be easier to either screencap from my Kindle app or to take photographs of my IRL TBR? (I...have a lot of books.)

My trick is to have a separate short list of books that I own and that has several books that fit the month's categories that I link. I'm not sure if goodreads allows that to be captured as easily as storygraph though. It is more fussy than just having a single to read list though, because I change it regularly if there aren't enough of the right category.

Oh, neat! I'm slowly making a list of TBR books I already own, it'll take some time but it should be easier for whoever I get next time I sign up to this :)

I didn't find your list difficult! In some ways, it makes it easier for you, because you can easily get the books. I'm learning that this time, because I the book I was sure was in the local library isn't. But, while writing this, I've realised that there is another library I have access to that might.
