Date: 2023-08-30 08:13 am (UTC)What books were chosen for you? Black Wings Beating by Alex London, Life is Wonderful, People are Terrific by Meliza Banales, Cloaked in Shadow by Ben Alderson
Did you manage to read your books? Which ones? I only managed to read Black Wings Beating, haven't been able to get copies from the other two books :(
If you read more than one, did you enjoy them? What was your favorite?
Would you recommend your chosen book(s)? Yes if YA LGBT fantasy is your thing ;)
Did you read anything else this month, outside of your chosen books?
I read
The Tale of the Body Thief by Anne Rice - not recommended, there are better books in her vampire saga than this
In with the Devil: A Fallen Hero, a Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption by James Keene - if true crime is your thing, then yes
